Last night was Live Nativity followed with a concert by The Foto Sisters.
It drizzled, so the spotlights were unusable and we were thankful for quick thinking and substitutes provided by flashlights. The sound system was not quite the way it should have been because all the electricals had to be covered, but it was certainly loud enough for everyone to hear.
We had a baby Jesus who slept through the whole thing, shepherd boys running around causing a ruckus (and eating way too many cookies), singing Wise Men (all of whom i know to also be wise guys in their funnier moments), angels, the children's chorus, the sheep and goats and donkeys, and great memories made.
It was wonderful, and the rest of my thankfuls are in blurry pictures, but are no less heartfelt:
