Posting Daily

Someone asked me how i blog every single day.

The answer is simple. Grit. Even on days when the last thing in the world i want to do is write anything more, after answering emails and posting encouragements for friends and cooking and cleaning and teaching and running errands, grit.

It is something i've decided i'm going to do, so i do. Where it will take me i have no idea. It is on my Mindbloom list of actions for every day. I consider it part of the work for The Artist's Way.

There is no book in me, i'm not a writer. That would be wonderful, a dream come true in fact, but it just isn't true for me. This, i can do. Meander around, piddle-dink, putter.

So i meander. Anything and everything and nothing, whatever runs through my abnormal brain. It's become a habit, and something of a passion, to see if i can find something, anything, to write about. Every single day.

Up to now, i've managed to find at least a sentence or two that i can cobble together. I'd like to say it gets easier, but some days it does, and some it doesn't.

How do you post every single day? Just post. Just start. Write a sentence. Erase, Write another. Go clean a sink full of dishes. Come write something else. Sooner or later, it will add up to a post.
