Camo Doesn't Become Him and Holiday Favorites

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..

2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code

3) paste the code under your cat picture

4) add your name and link
That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

Sorry to tell you this, Dansig:

Ellen of 15andmeowing provides the first two statements and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader.  They try to make sure they will be fun to both answer and share. On Friday, the linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM. Please head to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

2. My most meaningful Christmas ornament/decoration is ____________, because _____________.

3. My favourite holiday treat is _____________________.

4. A holiday tradition in my house is _____________________.

1. My favorite Christmas Song(s) is/are:  for a serious Christmas song, O Holy Night, for a wild and funny Christmas song, Rusty Chevrolet sung to the tune of Jingle Bells.  But i could do without hearing Little Drummer Boy ever again.  (Sorry for those who like it, but i think singing Parumpapumpum over and over a over is Dadadadadumb.

2. My most meaningful Christmas ornament/decoration is the one pictured below, because i simply have fond memories of it from when i was a very little girl.

My favorite, then and now.

3. My favorite holiday treat is raw cacao nibs, which i only buy as a treat for this time of year because they are so expensive.

4. A holiday tradition at my house is picking oranges from Grandma and Grandpa's navel orange trees in the back yard.  The kids do that at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they have so much fun!

  1. What a cutie Dansig is. He looks pretty satisfied with himself. I've never seen one of those Ferris Wheel Christmas decorations before, but it looks like the scenes would be very pretty. When I was young, I enjoyed something called a View Master. It looked like binoculars and you put disks of slides in. I loved the slides of foreign places. Have a great weekend, Mimi!

  2. A very pretty cat, but yes, I can see him!

  3. In typical cat fashion, Dansig doesn't give a fig that he's clashing something awful with that cushion. One of the many reasons I love cats so much.

  4. I agree with you about the Little Drummer Boy and about how the best ornaments are the early ones. I would add that the ornaments my girls made in school every year are the ones I value the most every passing year.

  12. National Chocolate Covered Anything Day sounds like my kind of day!
Dansig is a pretty kitty. :)
O Holy Night is a beautiful song. Another Christmas song that I like, but it isn't a Christmas carol is "Hallelujah He is Born" by Sawyer Brown. The Pentecostal Holiness/Church of God girl in me absolutely loves it. :) Have you ever heard it?
Have a blessed day and a very Merry Christmas!
