I Want You! (Awww Monday), Inspiring Quote of the Week, and Poetry Monday

Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

I want you to adopt me!

This means you, bubba!

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Delores and her friend Jenny are taking turns providing a theme for Poetry Monday, and i am trying my hand at participating.  This weeks' theme is Notes.

Notes in my note book,
Notes by my chair,
Notes on the calendar,
Notes everywhere.

Mama can't remember
And the notes make me berserk,
If you make me write another one,
I might call you a jerk!

  1. Hope the cute kitty get adopted soon. I need notes for reminder and now I am using my handphone reminder too!

  2. We love the quote about failures, it is so true. If you never try, you miss out on so much.

  3. I'm with you on the notes, for sure.
Alas, poor Netscape. I remember it well.

  4. Right on the money with the quote. I love the "adopt me" kitten above.

  5. Mimi,

I have to make notes on everything, too. I keep notes on my phone and in a notebook just so I won't forget. For things that are super duper important I set a reminder on my computer to flag me.

Great SPARKS quote. We all should fear failure less and just give opportunity a chance. Who knows we might be surprised with oursevles. :)

I hope that little kitty finds a home soon. Happy Monday!

  6. Aww! I hope the lovely cat gets a loving home soon :-)

I liked that quote too, have a quotetastic day ;-)

  7. Sad little kitty....who could resist that face.
Notes...yes...everywhere....only problem, sometimes I can't read my own writing lol. Good job. Next week...things that keep us cool.

  8. I love that Inspiring Quote Mimi. It says a lot. See ya.

  11. There's a beautiful male Himalayan cat who keeps coming to our house to eat because we put out food for all the critters. It's a hard life. I get it. If he has owners, why haven't they fixed him? I feel as though I need to capture this cat and get him fixed mysel

  12. Your poem is so familiar - I have notes everywhere and then some. They get buried under other notes when things get really bad :)

  13. What a little toot! I'm sure that kitty will find a furever home soon, but we're sending purrs and prayers to speed that day up.

  14. Hopefully this darling kitty finds her home soon!

  16. Monday was the birthday of a friend of mine...a friend of long-standing. Her late husband was my boss for 14 years, many years ago! She turned 84 years on Monday, 15th.

  17. How did I miss this. Failing to try is the biggest failure of them all.
    And I love your poem.
