Mr. Jim Helps Himself (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Mr. Jim, who belongs to a client, was not on his best behavior the other day:

You can see he has his food and water on the washer.

He is helping himself to Ms. R's water pitcher on the kitchen counter where he does not belong!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I love it when __________________________.

2. I know it’s time to _________________ when ________________.

3. Others come to me when they need _________.

4. We should never take _________ for granted.

1. I love it when it works out that i get a day off.

2. I know it’s time to go to bedwhen the words in the book get blurry.

3. Others come to me when they need pretty much anything, because they know that if i don’t have it or can’t do it, i probably know where it is or whom to ask.

4. We should never take love, family, or our healthfor granted.

*Yes, they celebrate a hot chocolate festival in the summer.  It all started when the 15th of August was a feast day on which the locals always drank a bit much, and the chocolatier of the town claimed his brew was a good remedy the day after.  The original festival on the 15th has ceased, but the hot chocolate is brewed to this day, served at 11am promptly.

  1. I am familiar with cats helping themselves to water. One night I woke to see Jazz dipping his kitty litter scratchers into my bedside water glass, licking the water off, and then redipping. I now have a sealed water container beside the bed.

  2. I know quite a few cats who ignore the water put out for them and drink from glasses, jugs etc. I don't leave unsealed water around, so Lola drinks from the toilet like a dog would if I leave the lid open.

  4. Well, their water is better than his water. I get that. You just don't leave anything around or the cats will be helping themselves.

Love your fill-ins. I've known you long enough to probably answer most of these for you.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

  11. It looks like Mr. Jim makes his own rules! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your answer to #2 made me laugh because of how relatable it is. I also know it's time to go to bed when I nod off and drop my book on my face. Happy reading!
