Complicated (Six Sentence Story), Beads (Good Fences), Fighting for Home (Sammy’s Poetry Day), and Brian’s Thankful Thursday

***********************************

What’s the dynamic between the two of them?

His brother used to date her best friend, but they broke up and then her best friend wanted to date him, but he wouldn’t do that to his brother, date his brother’s ex, so now the ex is mad at him and so she won’t talk to him, either.

Because her best friend isn’t dating him, she won’t talk to him?

That’s how they do it these days.

I am so glad I’m not in that age group now.

Tell me about it.

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Dynamic.

Gosia at Looking for Identity has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit other blogs to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

It’s the time of year again when Carnival music graces our airwaves and beads decorate the fences:

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day This week's image and my poem:

We know the seas,
And respect them so
We try to determine
When to stay or go.

Sometimes we misjudge
And get caught you can tell
In very high seas
And we ride every swell,

While trying so hard
To get on back home
And there we will stay
‘Til it’s time again to roam.

Brian of Brian's Home hosts the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.   It's time to share something for which i am thankful.

Yesterday, my usual Wednesday lady, Ms. GF, had to cancel.  Why would that be a thankful thing?  Because Grandma’s housekeeper is out of town, so that left me free to go clean her house.  An extra, mid-week visit and getting to do the detail work her regular lady doesn’t do, that is a very big thankful thing.

  1. Pretty fence. I like the sea when it is calm but it can be scary when the waves are high.

  2. You really are good at fencing. You should start a collection. Or write a song. Something like: Don't fence me in!

    God bless.

  11. Dating relationsips are do different than when I was a kid. This was interesting. From teaching school, I knew of situations such as this. And theywere indeed dymanic. Almost as dynamic as Mariska Hargitay who was born this day in 1964. Good post !
