It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Part of today’s post is also a writing challenge. This is how it works: contributing bloggers each picked a number between 12 and 74. The submitted numbers were then assigned to other bloggers challenged with writing at least one piece using that exact number of words.
I was assigned the word count number: 62
It was submitted by:  Baking In A Tornado

At the end of this post you’ll find links to the other blogs featuring this challenge. Check them all out, see what numbers they got and how they used them.

This past Saturday, i cleaned so much dog hair at Grandma and Grandpa's house that i was surprised there was any left on Lulu.  But yes, she still has enough that the floor will be covered again when i get back there, because the regular housekeeper is maintaining radio silence for the duration of the stay at home order.  Ah, job security.

Lulu, who still has plenty of hair to leave on the floors.

Here’s a Huey Long story we can relate to now.  The Kingfish, upon being advised to change the paper for his mailed political ads to the new, slick card stock that came in vogue, refused.  He knew many of his constituents still used outhouses, and that his softer paper ads would be kept longer and appreciated more than those of “slick” competitors!

Because of virus confinement, many people only get to see their own families or housemates.  If they are lucky, they get to see one other person, the postman.  Jon Matson has worked for the Royal Mail Service for a few years, and decided to try to lift the spirits of those on lockdown by going all out and dressing up.  Hooray, Jon!

People who are confined because of this virus have become quite creative, so there are plenty of laughs to share.

For those sports fans, even the sportscasters are getting bored:

These are for the whole family:

Hope everyone has a fabulous Tuesday, stay safe!

  12. Mimi,

The one thing we can say for the 'stay at home' order is it's giving families plenty of together time to do some things they otherwise wouldn't be doing right now. :) Love the funnies! Have a great day!
