Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

It is quite exhausting to snoopervise the cleaning of the outdoor kitchen, as Bear discovered this past Friday.

Heading out to snoopervise.

Keeping my eyes on you!

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

***********************************

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border.  She and Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey take turns providing a theme each week.   Charlotte/Mother Owl almost always participates, too.  This week the theme is My Favorite Snack.

Do you like to snack?
A little pick-me-up?
Sometimes it's perfect
When you can't wait to sup.

As for my very favorites,
Most any veggie or fruit will do,
Just as long as i can share them
With my favorite friend, that's you!

  7. Like Bear, our Lucy spends a lot of time keeping track of her humans. Her hardest decision is where will she take her next nap.
My wife makes a great pineapple upside down cake, so I think I'll talk her into celebrating that today. Have a blessed week.

  12. Lima bean respect day? Really? I have no respect for that flat ugly green bean with it's tasteless blandness. If I find one in my dinner I pluck it out mercilessly and toss it, screaming and crying, into the trash bin. Lima beans...yuck!!!!!

Murders in the Rue Morgue was one of my most favourite detective stories. I had no idea it was the very first of the genre!
