Growing Accustomed to Her Face (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Tripod SissyCat is getting more and more patient with and more tolerant of Coda every time the dog comes to stay for a while:

She's not growling, swiping at her, or running away!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. _________________________ is a privilege.

2. I was so embarrassed when ________________________.

3. I can’t help but smile when _________.

4. _________ has gotten out of hand.

1. Even being alive   is a privilege.

2. I was so embarrassed when   #1 Son was 6-years-old and was singing "O Little Town of Destrehan" in church instead of the correct words to "O Little Town of Bethlehem" -- i am such a fan of parody songs that he really thought those were the words!  (bad mommy!)

3. I can’t help but smile when   i think of how good the Almighty is.

4. Brother-in-Law's difficulties with figuring out how to use his phone   has gotten out of hand.   He has lost the booklet and cannot figure out how to bring up his contacts, and he only has any contacts because i have put them in for him.  It would be nice if we could sit him down with a 12-year-old who could show him stuff, but then again, what 12-year-old would be willing to coach him on using a flip phone!

  1. I wish that Jazz would adapt as well to a gorgeous ginger interloper as Tripod SissyCat.
My smart phone is infinitely smarter than I am.

  2. Charming photos, good thing that they are becoming friendly.

  3. Aww! they will be best friends by Christmas heheh!

I laughed at your fill-ins heheh! a comedian here Peter Kaye he does a lot of parody songs they are hilarious.

    Have a safetastic weekend 😷😷😷

  4. So nice to see the cat and dog getting along nicely.

    God bless.

  5. I think they misspoke and it's supposed to be "Vacuum the Crumbs Out of Your Keyboard Day" - because anything else makes me shudder. (And get the cat hair while you're at it, folks!)

  6. Good that the pair has become friends. Sometimes our smartphone is smarter than the user. That is why they are called smartphones. Lol!

  7. It's good that the kitty is finally accepting the pup. The do and can get along, but it's on the cats terms.

Love your fill-ins. A flip-phone? You can still get a flip-phone? Sorry but I did laugh at that.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug. ♥

  8. Tripod is quite the sweet cat! So patient! Love your answers- especially #4! I have a flip phone still and it's quite handy ...easy for me to figure out even without the instructions! If I lived closer I could help! Cheers!

  12. Looks like SissyCat is making friends. I did laugh about the phone when I got to the part about it being a flip phone!

  13. Glad SissyCat has gotten braver. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is funny about your brother-in-law and the phone- says the lady who can't even text :)
    Have a nice weekend. XO

  14. Just when I think your brother in law has figured it all out, he comes up with another issue. I think he just really does not want that phone. My boys used to text their dad, who would call me, read me the text, and I'd have to text them the answer because Hubs couldn't (or didn't want to) figure out how to text.

  15. Thank you for sharing this wonderful post keep your awesome work
I have many hobbies. I love to travel and read. But my favorite hobby is cooking. Let me tell you why! First, I'll tell you a little bit about why I started cooking. Secondly, I'll give you some information about what I like to cook. Third, I will say how I use the Fooddy Blog for cooking.

When I started cooking, I was 10 years old. My mom wants me to be a chef. She has always believed that girls have to make different types of food, because one day they will get married. In my country, it is normal for girls not to cook. I feel lucky because I can cook many dishes. Now that I cook some of the dishes my children and husband love, I become happy and proud of my mother and myself. foody

  16. I love seeing SissyCat and Coda hanging out together! I just love when cats and dogs are friends. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your answer to #3 is so true and so inspiring. Have a wonderful week!
