In Their Place (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

This past Tuesday, i included a funny about how even if women came with instructions, men wouldn't read them.

Then building on that, Friday, i answered a Friendly Fill-in by saying i wish men came with instruction books that explain how they think, i would read it.  What i should have said is that the book needs to explain why they think the way they do.

Boudreaux done be talkin' to Thibodeaux 'bout de women, an' he see Clothile be in de nex' room where she can hear dem.

Fo' de joke, he say, "Clothile, what you be t'ink if'n I say dat women only belong in de kitchen?"

An' Clothile say, "Mais, you best remember dat be where we keep de knives!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

Spring is popping out all over.  There was concern the ice storm would ruin the flowers, and mostly that does not seem to be the case.  However, i've noticed that only the white crepe myrtles are blooming, the pink, red, and lavender ones are not, and that has me wondering.

Mr. BA has a new tool for the garden, he's very excited!

Coda photobombs the weed flowers i'm trying to get a picture of.

What's in there?

Someone put a branch in there!

The creek has a lot of algea.

One of the trees that mostly fell and had to be cut the rest of the way after the ice storm.

All that pine resin shows why you don't want to burn this as firewood.

Sometimes you have to hold the flowers still in the wind to get a photo.
