New Boy Hanging Around (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Ms. GA told me there was a new cat hanging around, a black and white male.  He was rather shy, she said, not wanting to be petted, but not running away, either.

She wanted to get a picture of him to put on Nextdoor, find out if anyone is taking care of him and offer to share the cost of neutering him.

While she was gone, i got pictures, all right, and he has a collar, so someone is claiming him.  Whether the person will agree to the neutering plan remains to be seen.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. A memory I have of _____________________ is __________________________.

2. I always complain about __________________.

3. I have a lot in common with _________.

4. Right now I’m _________, but I’d rather be _________.

1. A memory I have of   childhood  is   reading all of the time.

2. I always complain about   traffic, but i am trying to learn not to because it does not help and makes me crankier about it.

3. I have a lot in common with   other pet lovers, we all work hard to give our pets a better life!

4. Right now I’m   working,   but I’d rather be   retired.

  3. I do hope the owner agrees to having their cat neutered.
I always had my nose buried in a book as a child. I still like to read but don't do as much as I would like to.

  4. Hopefully blogger has relented and will let this comment through. I do hope that lovely boy can be neutered, and like your fill-ins.

  5. That black and white male cat looks big. Hope the owner will agree to have the cat neutered. I too read a lot when I was young but very less now. I used to complain about traffic but I am glad I seldom do now.

  7. He's a handsome kitty. I can't imagine not taking care of fixing kitties when it's time. It's the right thing to do.

Love your fill-ins and you're right about the traffic. Take a deep breath, count to 10 or whatever it takes to just go with the flow. Out there we're all in the same boat.

Retirement was scary at first, but it's ever so wonderful.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, my friend. Love and hugs. ♥

  13. I came to the love of reading later in life, but I'm making up for lost time now.

  14. He is a huge cat! Was his father a panther? I hope the owner agrees to neutering, but again, he might be a breeder, in which case he should be running around town.

  15. It always scares me to see a cat running loose. We have coyotes who have been known to pick off a few poorly supervised pets. And the neighbour's unsupervised (and de-clawed, but don't get me started on that!) cat drowned in our pool. It was not a good day for ANY of us.

  16. What a handsome tuxie kitty. I hope he stays safe and has a good home. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I really relate to all of your answers this week. The freedom of retirement really is a nice thought, isn't it? I hope your week is going wonderfully!
