Brotherly Love? (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

Hehanded hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.  Wish me luck!

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is:  Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Dansig the Round and Link Linker the Stinker were raised as brothers, they are best friends and wrestle buddies.

It may not look like it, but this really is how they show they like each other.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. A recent earworm I had was _________.

2. I have no interest in reading _________.

3. I would give _________ in exchange for _________.

4. _________ is my favorite scent.

1. A recent earworm I had was   Poor, Wayfaring Stranger.  (It was the music prompt for Words for Wednesday, and it has stuck with me, and i'm not complaining.)

2. I have no interest in reading   anything that bores me from the start, there are too many great things to read for me to waste time on anything that doesn't grab my interest from the beginning.

3. I would give   extra work each week  in exchange for   getting our car repair debt paid down (and in fact, i am doing so).

4. _________ is my favorite scent.   I'm not sure how to answer this, as i have several favorites, sweet olive, jasmine, gardenia, fresh bread, and bleach (yes, really!) among them.

St. Knut's Day (a/k/a Little Christmas or Twentieth Day or Tyvendedagen among the Scandinavians, it celebrates Canute IV of Denmark and is the day to "plunder" the tree put up on Christmas Eve, eating the candies and cookies that were decorating it, and puting all the other decorations away before the tree is removed.)

Theogamia -- Ancient Greek Calendar (anniversary celebration of the marriage of Zeus and Hera; date approximate, but during Gamelion, the month of marriages)

  16. I'm not sure why, but I used to feel some kind of obligation to finish reading any book I started. I've come to totally agree with you, there are too many good books out there to keep pushing on with ones that don't hold my interest.

  24. It's funny how wrestling can be for fun or fighting and the only way to know the one from the other is if you're family! (Link Linker the Stinker--great name!) Baking bread has to be my favourite scent! I wonder if they could bottle it?
