Yesterday, Grandma was commenting on how it's already the end of January and how fast it went.

Boudreaux be talkin' 'bout how de time pass so fas' he cain't keep track.

Clothile done say, "De bad news be dat time flies, but de good news be dat you be de pilot."

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais!  De news dey don' tell you be how much fuel you gots!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.        

I finally remembered to take some photos of pine trees.  Charlotte/MotherOwl has chosen a color for each month, and this month is Pine Green.

A crow landed on a wire above me and called out.  His friend came over and joined him.

From Ms. SE's house, you can see the far gate post where the keypad used to be and what we had to wade through to get to it as well as the position  now on the dry side.

A few azaleas are blooming already.
