Oh, Yeah, That’s What I Like! (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Happy Mother's Day to all who celebrate!

Our plan, as has become the new custom since Grandma cannot go out to a buffet restaurant with the huge crowds, is to high-tail it for NOLA the moment the Amens are said at church, cook a meal for whoever can show up, clean up, and come back.

Boudreaux done like to take de family to de buffet restaurant, but he keep warning Tee, "Son, don' take too much!  You gots to make sure you eat it all, so don' take too much!"

An' fin'ly Tee say, "Mais, Père, I likes too much!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

Just flowers and skies.

  1. I see frangipani and hibiscus, the bricked path and flower beds are very nice. I think Tee's eyes are bigger than his stomach.

  7. The portrait sky images really caught our eyes this week. The yellow aster-like flowers too, so many, like a cushion, were our favourite blooms. Have a great fun and chilled day!
