Don't Quit (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Sammy's Poetry Day and Brian's Thankful Thursday

 ***********************************

"I hate this intersection."

"What's wrong with it?"

"The 'yield' sign, some ignore it and almost cause accidents, the rest act like it's a stop sign and practically park there."

"Sometimes it's hard to know what to do or whether there really is time to merge.  I'd rather make the error on the side of caution and give way."

"Yes, but some don't seem to remember it's give way, not give up!"

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Yield.

While Good Fences Around the World seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird, i still enjoy looking for and posting interesting fences, so i will!

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day This week's image and my poem:

if the Good Lord meant

for me to touch my toes He'd

put them on my knees

*******

You'd think with all the berries I eat,

the fish I catch, no dairy, clean meat,

all the walking and running in the grass,

shouldn't I be in better shape for yoga class?

  2. We are mind blown at how most people blow through stop signs and they are pretty simple to understand. Asking people to yield is way over their pay grade. It's really sad people don't feel the need to obey signs. In their minds they are too important and in too big of a hurry to follow the rules.

  3. I studied the second photo very closely so that I could see the fence was hidden in the bushes.
