That Doesn't Make It (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

One of the important jobs at Grandma and Grandpa's house is making the beds, especially as Grandma leaves her bed less and less.  She's very particular, and sometimes I have to make adjustments.

Tee Boudreaux done have him de chores in de house, an' one o' dem be he gots to make hims bed ever' mornin', and hims Mère an' Père done take turn checkin' make sure he done did it.

One day Boudreaux done be in Tee's room lookin' at de bed he done made an' he said, "Mais, garçon, if'n you ever git de offer of a job makin' beds at a hotel, turn it down!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  Some of the current participants include River, Charlotte/Mother Owl, Andrew and sometimes WiseWebWoman.

Just some bits and bobs, including rEcess.

This week, Link Linker the Stinker wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.

He has on his, "I'm competing with Grumpy Cat" face.

  2. Link Linker certainly looks terrific today. It must be a challenge to try to make the sheets on a bed just the way someone else would like to have them fit. I actually hate making the bed. And even worse folding the sheets when they come out of the dryer, lol.

  12. Link Linker is very fluffy today. I used to be particular with bed making, now I just ease out and gently pull things as straight as I can without waking the cat. Lovely photos.
