After two weeks of his family being on vacation, it was time for Mr. Cal, Becca and i to take a walk again. I asked Mr. Cal if he was ready and his response was
Just one more bite before we go!
We finally got outside and he was very busy sniffing.
Then the best part, we met up with Ash!
Ash was moving so fast, jumping so much, he was a blur and I couldn't get a proper photo of him!
Back home, it was time to rest.

Sparks is the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, who wanted us to post something positive and uplifting at the start of the week. While she no longer blogs, i like to post an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Our dear friend Diane is taking a break
accommodations we must make
we miss her poetry and wit
so carry on as Poetry Monday's a hit!
Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border. Charlotte/Mother Owl and i are keeping it going while she takes a blog break, we hope temporarily. Anyone else is welcome to join in the fun, just let us know!
This week the theme is In a Cave.
I wrote a silly limerick and a freeform verse.
He decided to be very brave
when he first discovered a cave
he found out a bear
used it as its lair
and ran for his backside to save!
*******
It was in a cave
while on vacation
with family
when
they turned out the lights
and there would
be no
light ever again if they
did not turn it on again,
that moment
it dawned on me
what dark really is.
*******
Future themes are:
November 17 In a Cave
November 24 Pot of Tea for Two
December 1 Mole's Eye View
December 8 Peace
December 15 Coconuts
(All themes are from the 365 Days of Drawing Prompts and Other Arts Facebook group.)
