Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and has become a moveable feast of word or picture or music prompts to encourage us to write stories, poems, or whatever strikes our fancy.

This month, Sean Jeating is providing the prompts and they will appear on River's blog.

This week's words/prompts are:

1.bird

2.window

3.wings

4.span

5.open

and/or:

1.time

2.world

3.laugh

4.all

5.get

Charlotte's colour of the month is Heavenly Blue

use either list or both, or mix and match, just have fun.

She sat at the WINDOW and looked out on the Heavenly Blue sky with a sigh that came from her toes.

She used to feel like the BIRD she saw now, WINGS spread OPEN to their widest SPAN, wheeling and darting, almost looking like it was just up there for fun.

TIME, she'd been told, would set ALL things right with her WORLD again soon enough, and while her head knew it was true, how long would it take for her heart to GET it?  When would she be ready to LAUGH again?

Well, until it happened, there was no use just sitting here and moping.  No matter what else was going on in her life, supper had to be cooked.
