Ms. G let me know she would arrive after me, then she had to leave again, and while gone she left me a project.
She searched for the perfect pad of paper and pen, and i was to take inventory on all the dog medication she'd been given to continue distributing to those small, rural rescues and shelters which never have enough supplies or money.
While she was gone, i divided everything out, Heartgard here, NexGard there, NexGard Plus over that way, then divide it by which weight of dog it's for, then whether there are 3, 6, or 12 doses per pack.
When she got home, she took the pad and pen and we started dividing into bags based on the number of dogs that particular rescue or shelter has at the moment, plus a few extras.
Of course, the ones for middle sized dogs go the fastest, everyone has the most of those.
We had to stop when she realized she had another appointment, but some is divided out and the rest will be soon, and then she'll be driving around distributing, or making plans to meet shelter workers half-way for those further out, the work for the animals never really stops.

Angel Brian's Family of Brian's Home - Forever hosts the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. It's time to share something for which i am thankful.
Today i am thankful a possible health scare with our cat, Link Linker the Stinker, has proven to be nothing. Our vet thought she could feel an abnormal mass in his abdomen and sent him for X-rays. All the scans were clear.
Also, the vets were extremely impressed with Link. He completely held still, with no noise, when they put him in the harness for the X-ray. Usually they have to lightly sedate the cats, but he just sat there, still and quiet, and let them get on with it. They said they'd never seen such a well behaved cat, but I can tell them he lives up to the Stinker part of his name at home!

ReplyDeleteBlogger is driving me nuts but you asked about our pastor and the homeless. YES our city is fining him with a criminal citation. They did the same thing to a larger church BRAVE. So the churches have filed a lawsuit. Please pray. Can you imagine allowing people to starve to save their sorry prideful selves. Our mayor is a lost soul. It is such a sinful thing they are doing but their attorney was not laughing!!!! Thank you for asking and thank you for prayers. LOVE and HUGS sent your way.
