A to Z Challenge: S is for Still Got it

"Hey, mom, look!  I still got it!"

Bigger Girl had come into the kitchen and handed me a parrot balloon animal.  She hadn't made balloon animals in quite a while, at least not that i had seen.

Parrot on a swing.

Very good! i told her.

"Isn't it great?  I think I'm going to work up a few more animals and see if I can't occasionally do it for a party or two again.  It's so much fun!"

It is a good idea, and i'm glad she's still got it.  She has managed to work up to doing a few animals she never did before.  She made a horse, and it startled me, because i reached into one of the cat carriers to put a kitten in, and there was something already in there!

The horse, found two days later in a cat carrier, after one balloon had lost air.

She's still able to take me by surprise, as well as still able to make kids smile with her animals.
