A to Z Challenge: V is for Visit and Victory

My reason for traveling to see my friend DiDreaming was twofold.  First, i love to visit.  Second, she needed help.

One thing i like about the help she needed is that i got to use tools.  Not just any tools, my friend lets me play with power tools!

Power tools are fun!

The whole visit was a victory.  We got pictures up, and we got the canopy up

One princess canopy, one happy princess.

We got the curtains up.

Yes, i had to climb on the furniture to do it.

Best of all, we didn't let the TV defeat us!  Victory was ours, we got it up, too!

We Did It!

  3. Yay for power tools and getting everything accomplished! For many years I had chiffon draping from my bedroom ceiling to give the effect of a canopy. I love that style!

  4. Way to go on all counts. This rocks to get everything done. Especially that canopy. You have to care for your princess.

Have a fabulous day and weekend. ☺

    1. BTW, have often attended the FAMOUS INTERSTATE MULLET TOSS.... I think I shall forego the excitement this year. The dead fish and bright sunshine lend a peculiar ambiance to the event that I don't feel the need to reexperience this year.

  9. Good for you! I think I could have handled the canopy and curtains -- but the big TV, I would have been afraid of dropping such an item!
I leave the power tools to the hubby now. But I know I do have a power drill that I bought when I was single somewhere in his mess of a man cave.
