Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

Sometimes you just have to look at life from a different perspective:

Especially when your brother is sitting on you:

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Delores and her friend Jenny are taking turns providing a theme for Poetry Monday, and i am trying my hand at participating.  This weeks theme is Things That Cool You Down.

Ice cream
Brain freeze
Stay cool in the pool
Wet towel
Electric fan
Cold soup for the group
Lawn sprinkler
Slip-n-slide
Got it made in the shade
Best idea
I've heard
Stay indoors in your drawers!

  5. We love the motivation quote. Sometimes it is so frustrating we do want to quit, but we keep going, and it makes us feel better, and we will eventually succeed.

  6. Mimi,

Yep, that's what I want to do these days...stay indoors in my drawers! It's too blooming hot to go outside! Well...it's probably a whole lot hotter there than here because of the humidity which sucks the life out of you and leaves you sopping wet. UGH!! July is ending soon, so you know this season has its days numbered. It'll all fade away faster than we can keep up, so it's best to live in the moment instead of wishing our days away. Stay cool and have a boogietastic week, my friend!
