All In What You Tell Them (Cajun Joke) and Spring (Sunday Selections)

***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Boudreaux an’ Thibodeaux done be out campin’ by near de mil’tary base out in Pineville, an’ dey stumble on t’ree han’ grenade.  Dey decide dey goin’ take dem an’ turn dem over at de base.

Den Thibodeaux say, “Boudreaux, what if one dem blow up while we be on de way to turn dem in?”

An’ Boudreaux say, “Mais, den we tell dem we only foun’ two!”

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

Spring is here:

we are watching out for the baby cypress trees and moving them as they pop up

  3. Azaleas & hibiscus are doing extraordinarily well this year, but the gardenias have only been so so. Don't know why.

The blip re: 'As Young As You Feel' caught my eye. My minds feels as though I'm still 21, but my body differs. It's all good, though, because I strive my best everyday... whatever that is. 😉

  15. We are a tad jealous of the flowers. We still have snow, although the tulips and the daffydills are starting to poke their leaves out of the ground and will probably flower in 4-5 weeks.
We are happy it is warmer and we can spend time out outside too!
