Society has come full circle. Now we are back to a barter system for some things, with the bargain being worth more than mere money.
Sweetie has been doing outdoor work for The Big Boss. This week, The Boss ran out of ready cash at home, and asked if he could pay in goods.
The Big Boss gave him the credit card to go fill the gas tank, and fed him a good meal, but the best part of the bargain was a full can of Lysol spray. Score!

Yesterday while waiting in line at the bank drive-up, i noticed a brick and wood fence, and snapped a photo, then realized i was in for a treat. The daily goose parade was passing!

Everyone on that busy street knows to stop and let them cross with the young ones, but this is only the second time i’ve gotten to see it, and never when they are crossing the street.

I tried doing some online shopping for some items yesterday but TP and papertowels for the most part remain out of stock but so are a lot of canned items. DH warned weeks ago that it would come to this and while I knew supplies might dwindle I didn't think it would actually get to this point. Boy is that fella smart! Nice poem and thanksgivings. Be well, my dear!
