Asleep On the Job (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Abigail is supposed to be snoopervising Mr. BA while he’s on the computer, but she fell asleep on the job:

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I had ___________for _____________.

2. I ________________surprises.

3. _________ is my idea of fun.

4. If I were a food, I would be _________.

1. I had   a luscious quinoa and veggie curry  for   supper last night

2. I  am not a fan of  surprises.  Perhaps i have had too many of the “mom, I have a flat tire” and “mom, I had an accident” and “mom, I think I need to go to the emergency room” variety; if i’d had more pleasant surprises, i might like the idea of a surprise better.

3. Relaxing with a good book   is my idea of fun.

4. If I were a food, I would be  Brussels’ sprouts — they are nutritious, delicious and it’s way cool how they grow on stalks!

  1. Brussels sprouts are one of my favourite veggies too. I'd like to try growing them, but first I need a decent sized yard with good soil.

  4. Snoopervising can be very tiring work.
I like sprouts too. I can never understand why so many people (including hubby) dislike them.

  5. I cannot cope with sprouts. My mother cooked them until they were a nasty soft grey paste like dish. I do understand that they should be much better cooked than that but old prejudices die hard.
I too really, really like curling up with a book.
I suspect that Abigail was snoopervising with one eye (or ear) open.

  7. Cats are so lazy they are always sleeping on the job. Mom likes brussel sprouts. They are not very popular around here, though.

  12. Very cute kitty. Such a good helper. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I love Brussels Sprouts. We tried to grown them, but the deer go to them already. Those don't sound like surprises I would enjoy either. Have a nice weekend. XO
