Opinion (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Link is letting me know what he thinks of having Coda the dog visit:

You brought in the dog, I am ignoring you!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. So far 2021 is ____________________.

2. A book (movie or song) title that best describes my life is ___________________________.

3. _________ was a pleasant surprise.

4. I learned that _________ is a recipe for disaster.

1. So far 2021 is   about like 2020, there's work scheduled six days a week and Church plus volunteer work on Sunday.

2. A book (movie or song) title that best describes my life is   ...the only one i can think of is the song "Car Wash," it's about people working to clean cars, but cleaning is cleaning!

3. Getting Coda for this weekend    was a pleasant surprise.

4. I learned that   leaving any cat food within reach and Coda unsupervised around it  is a recipe for disaster.

  1. No wonder Link is unhappy if Coda is a cat food thief.

  2. That is definitely the back of respect! You asked if I had the first ever photo I took of the boys. It is in this flashback from last year:
    https://twodevoncats.blogspot.com/2020/06/friday-flashback-and-caturday-art.html
Also more photos in this flashback post from 2009post:
    https://twodevoncats.blogspot.com/2009/07/friday-flashback-baby-kitties.html
The first photo would have been taken mid May 2000 when they were 5 1/2 weeks old.
If you want a random photo from there let me know.

  3. Have you ever worked out what cats think when they just sit there looking?

    God bless.

  4. Yep, kitty isn't too happy but Coda must like the recipe for disaster!

  5. A pleasant surprise for you but not for Link, especially when Coda loves cat food.

  6. Link will be okay after the pup leaves. Funny how they can let us know they are unhappy about something.

Love your fill-ins and now the song Car Wash is in my head. Not a bad thing.

You might not ever get rich
But let me tell you, it's better than digging a ditch
There ain't no telling who you might meet
A movie star or maybe even an Indian chief

    At the car wash
Talking about the car wash, yeah
Come on y'all and sing it with me, car wash
Sing it with feeling now, car wash, yeah

  10. Hee! Hee! At least Link is not hiding! We hide from any visiting dogs, our hairy slobbery sister Cinnamon is more than enough for us! And Mom loves your fill ins! She agrees with all of them! She is so furry happy she is retired, but it looks like she will have to resurrect her canning business this summer. Have a marvellously Happy Day!

  16. Oh no, you're getting the "talk to the back end" treatment from Link. Perhaps he and Coda could be friends...some day. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! 2021 also feels a lot like 2020 to me. And I know what you mean on #4. Pup Astrid knows she's not supposed to eat the kitties' food, but she still steals some when I leave the room. She's a naughty girl sometimes, but I can't help but love her. Have a wonderful week!
