That's How (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Sammy's Poetry Day, and Brian's Thankful Thursday

***********************************

"Tell me, how have you two done it?"

"Done what?"

"Stayed married for so many years?"

"Well, we're alike on most of the important things, and opposites on the other things, and opposites attract, you know.

"What do you mean?"

"We agree on the big issues of life, like money and religion, but in everything else, we're opposite -- I'm the morning lark who makes the coffee, he's the night owl who locks up the house, I'm the number nerd who keeps the budget, and he is the free spirit musician, but best of all, I like the crunchy outside of the pan of brownies, and he likes the gooey center, so no fighting over dessert!"

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Center.

Gosia at Looking for Identity has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit other blogs to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

On my way out of Ms. RW's alley the other day, i saw something i'd never seen in someone's back yard before, a solid metal fence.

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day!  This week's image and my poem:

We may not be real Tiggers

But pretending to be is fun

When it comes to loving pogo sticks

I'm not the only one!
