Adventure (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Sammy’s Poetry Day, and Brian’s Thankful Thursday

 ***********************************

“We need to have some adventure in our lives.”

“Okay, let’s go explore the refrigerator.”

“I’m not joking, and there’s no way you can be hungry again.”

“You don’t know my stomach very well yet, do you?”

“Well, let’s pick something fun and adventurous to do and while we’re doing it, we’ll explore a new cuisine.”

“That’s an adventure I can get behind!”

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Explore.

Gosia at Looking for Identity has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit other blogs to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

Someone built a new fence, and it’s about like a fortress.

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day!  This week's image and my poems (i couldn’t stop at one):

Inspiration waits

Outside the window - Watching

Stuffies sit, entranced

*******

Fabric hangs from the princess bed

Stories grow inside her head,

She has an audience every night,

For the tales of the window sprite.

Brian of Brian's Home hosts the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.   It's time to share something for which i am thankful.

Today i am thankful to be back at work almost full time.

Update on our patients.  Brother-in-law has an appointment with the doctor today, and Sweetie tomorrow, we are hoping neither will have to be on the oxygen much longer.

Uncle P had a difficult day yesterday.  It’s too be expected that some days will be better and some worse as he recovers.  Please those of you who pray continue to lift him up until he is fully healed, thank you.

  14. Concatulations on going back to work! And we like that "Black Cow root beer float day" too! I think the human should make herself a root beer float and take a photo of it with Oliver because it has been said that he resembles a Holstein. Oliver says it's because of his black and white coloring but methinks it might be because of his physique too-MOL!
