Getting Back Into The Swing of It, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

 ***********************************

Ladies and Gentlemen, and especially Ms. Karen from Baking in a Tornado, please forgive me.  Today was supposed to be the Word Counters Post that i did last Tuesday!

Everything around here has been in such a muddle that i am way off.  Here’s the Link to that post, and please forgive me, it’s been a rough three weeks.

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

Sweetie is doing well enough that i can work for at least a few hours each day now.  Yesterday, i went back to Carl’s.  It was the usual.

Gotta give him kudos for trying.  The bag was in there, still folded, but it was in there!

That was five hours and 4 loads of laundry.  His mother is thrilled that i’m able to come back.

Uncle P is finally in a room instead of the ICU.  He has his phone and can’t always answer, but he does read his texts.  So i sent him a text that said, “We’re all praying for you.  Get well soon, stinky little brother!”

Well, he is a stinky little brother for putting us through this scare.  Anyway.

Now i'm going to update and put in my Word Counter's Post for today.  Ms. Karen at Baking in a Tornado chose the number 18, and Diane at On the Border is also playing along.

Every day for the past week has started out around 4:30am.  That's when i take my thyroid pill.

Before i leave for work, i check Sweetie's pulse oxygen level and get his supplies ready for him.

In a small ice chest, i have a banana, protein drink, sports drink, glaucoma drops, and cold pack.

That holds him until i can get home from work to give him his inhaler and a snack.

So far, it's working out, no emergency calls yet and he's usually still napping when i get home.

All right, how about the funnies.

Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone, and please stay safe!

  1. Yep, that looks like Carl :) My mum would have had a fit at the shoes on the counter, apparently it's bad luck or something.
