A Hint Will Do (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Sammy's Poetry Day and Brian's Thankful Thursday

 ***********************************

"Oh, that looks so good!" she heard him say as she walked into the den where he was watching TV.

"What looks good?" she asked as she took a seat on the couch beside him.

"It was a commercial for that Italian restaurant, and they showed the spaghetti with meatballs, and it got me to thinking about those huge meatballs you make and how good they are..."

"And now you're wanting me to make meatballs this weekend?"

"Pretty please?" he said, with the puppy dog eyes look that he knew always made her laugh.

She did laugh, and said, "You don't have to hit me with a club for me to take a hint."
