Lady Jane and Dudley (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

It was hard to photograph, but Lady Jane and Dudley like to play, one in the upper part of the cage, the other in the lower, and they reach between the bars to bat at each other.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. Wouldn't it be nice if _________.

2. I don't mind buying used _________.

3. I have a strange habit of _________.

4. I have enough _________ to last a lifetime.

1. Wouldn't it be nice if   everyone was nice!

2. I don't mind buying used   almost anything except, of course, those deeply personal items everyone should get new.

3. I have a strange habit of   filling up my car when the tank is only down to halfway.  I don't ever want to be without a mostly full tank in case of an emergency.

4. I have enough   experience scrubbing really nasty bathrooms   to last a lifetime.

  1. It would be better than nice if everyone was nice. It would be wonderful. I don't envy your bathroom scrubbing experiences.

  2. That's so cute with the two kitties' interactions. They look pretty frisky to me. I hope they will be cageless one day so they can frisk elsewhere.

  3. It is nice that those kitties can reach to each other to keep themselves entertained.

  4. How sweet to see the two kittens playing through the cage. Now if only they could be adopted together, that would be terrific. And I'm like you on the gasoline. I was brought up here where it's colder and our reasoning is that we never want to be stuck on the road with a short tank of gas and need the heater for a long time.

  5. I like your friendly fill-ins. My answer for that last one was spontaneous and out loud: Yarn! Scrubbing experiences ... yes I think I've had more than my share, but not anywhere near yours.

  6. That looks like a super fun set up for the kitties! Here in MN you learn as a kid to always have plenty of gas because of the extreme cold in the winter, you may need it if you have car trouble. Mom gets nervous if she is down to a quarter of a tank any time of the year!

  8. Cute kitty pics. Great fill in answers. I'm with you on #1. I'm the same way about gas. I don't like my gas tank to get under the halfway mark. Have a great weekend!

  9. Such cute kittens. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. You are wise to keep a full tank of gas. :) XO

  11. Yes indeed kindness seems to have been forgotten lately. It cost nothing to smile and say hello.
Lady Jane and Dudley what fun names.

  15. Love the kitties playing. I've had my share of cleaning other peoples places too. These days just doing my own is enough for me.
