Yin and Yang Kitties (Feline Friday and Pet Photo Fails) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

My "not quite yin and yang kitties," Dansig the Round and Link Linker the Stinker, were having a morning "wrassle."   The photos are cropped but otherwise not changed, and enough are fails i decided to join Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries, and Meows for her Pet Photo Fails Hop.

The boys in their "yin yang" pose.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I used to dislike _________ until _________.

2. If it weren't for _________, I would never _________.

3. I find _________ very intimidating.

4. _________ gives me the inspiration to _________.

1. I used to dislike   avocados  until   i tried them again as an adult and as guacamole.

2. If it weren't for   my wonderful clients,   I would never   be able to stay in this business.  I can't imagine cleaning houses and doing other services for mean or nasty or ungrateful people.  I hear stories from other housekeepers and am very grateful for my clients.

3. I find   The IRS  very intimidating,   which is why i don't mess around when it comes to paying my quarterlies and getting my filing in on time.

4. Knowing we're really making a difference for people and cats  gives me the inspiration to   volunteer at the shelter even when the work is hard or things aren't going perfectly, as happens to all of us sometimes.

  2. I don't think there is even one fail in the bunch! It's cool to have the whole sequence. I'll be using at least one of these in Funny Friday next week!

  3. I would say that's two very happy cats playing together. Great pictures of them. And obviously when you go to the shelter you do good work and I know they must appreciate it.

  4. The orange kitty sure has a lot of fluffy fur! So fun to see the two enjoying so much fun together. Mom says to never mess with the IRS too. She always pays her quarterly and whatever else needs to be paid. Keeping the IRS away is most important.

  5. The IORS, as that commercial on TVsays is the single most feared institution in the U.S. With good reason. They are relentless. Once when I was first single again, I did my own taxes. I only made 9000.00 that year. I thought I did it correctly but I was hit with a letter that I miscalculated by 6 dollars and the fine was exponential! I was horrified at the fine. Since, though it is costly, I have a CPA do my taxes.

  14. Oona: "Dansig and Link wrestling is just like Oona and Chaplin wrestling! Except Oona is a couple of pounds smaller than Chaplin and usually wins by attacking by surprise and bowling him over."
Chaplin: "That doesn't really count as a win if it's a sneak attack."
Oona: "IT'S DEFINITELY NOT A LOSS!!!"

  21. I bet that "wrassle" was fun to watch. I couldn't work for mean clients either. Long ago I had to stop working for one who kept piling on extra jobs and one day asked me to clean the bathroom ceilings which were very high and I would have needed to balance on a ladder.

  22. That sure was was some good wrassling! Love how they yin ad yang with each other after the fun was over. :)
