One Sunday Morning (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Walking Mr. Cal one Sunday, we noted a couple of the areas cats that are allowed outdoors.  The orange one especially didn't seem worried about a dog walking past.

He was watching squirrels in the tree and not at all worried about Mr. Cal, or us.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. If someone offered me a free _________, I would accept it.

2. If someone offered me a free _________, I would refuse it.

3. I have _________ memorized.

4. _________ has really changed since I was younger.

1. If someone offered me a free   newer car with air conditioning,   I would accept it.   I'm not looking forward to driving this summer.

2. If someone offered me a free   steak dinner,   I would refuse it.   Weirdo vegetarian, that's me.

3. I have   several Bible verses and my work schedule   memorized.

4. More than i can think to write about, especially technologically   has really changed since I was younger.   One thing has not changed, human nature.

In other news, I wish many happy returns of the day to #2 Son!

  1. Sweet neighbourhood cats.
So many things have changed since I was younger. One of the things that annoy me most is places that will only take a card payment. If I am going somewhere face to face I want the option to pay by cash. A café we went into recently refused cash but they had a jar on top of the counter for cash tips! We didn't give them our custom and went to a much friendlier place across the road.

  3. I look for cats everywhere I drive or walk. And it's not that I don't love to see them outside, it's just that they don't belong outside. Hope these two have a home to go back to.

  4. What a lovely peachy kitty! I'm not surprised Mr. Cal didn't scare him or her. I used to go on the front porch with my kitties and they seemed to love the pups that came to visit. By the way, Bettina is on Dani's blog today. May I ask if you are a foster to other animals, or is it medically related? Dani's just nosy.

  5. Hope the kitty stays safe outside. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. # 4 is so true. I feel bad for you about the a/c, I had a car without once and it was awful.

  12. I enjoy my EMW(early morning walks) I see lots of K9's walking their humans and every so often an out of doors cat runs by often into a storm drain...that worries me. Thanks for hosting

  13. Really enjoyed your fill-in answers. I'm sitting here thinking what else I have memorized other than the alphabet. Ah yes, the times table. I've still got that.

  14. I like all the trees. I see cats wandering around the grounds here too, though they are not supposed to. Our law says cats must be confined to their premises, so either in their home or in a yard where they can't get out.

  16. That is one laid back kitty! I have to chuckle about proofreading day. Someone I read was mentioning that they hated autocorrect, they were selling something, and autocorrect made the ad say they were giving a monkey back guarantee!
