Bumper "Snickers" (Wordless Wednesday) and Words for Wednesday

Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and has become a moveable feast of word or picture or music prompts to encourage us to write stories, poems, or whatever strikes our fancy.    

This month Elephant's Child is providing the prompts, and we thank her for continuing to herd the cats and facilitate our ability to enjoy Words for Wednesday.    

This week's prompts are:

Please note, i changed a couple of the sayings a bit to fit the sentence structure and grammar.

Their trying to keep the surprise party a secret from the coworker had been The Elephant In The Room for a couple of days.

Now everyone was As Busy As A Bee with preparations.  The decorations were New Start Yellow, very cheerful, and the workers from HR were As Happy As Dogs With Two Tails putting them up.

The boss was not Chicken Hearted and had agreed to keep the coworker busy, playing A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing but behaving as if the Cat Had His Tongue every time coworker asked what was really going on.

The legal and accounting people were Having A Whale Of A Time setting up the food and drinks, and everyone else was scurrying around as if they had Ants In Their Pants.

It worked!  Coworker was very surprised and touched, the party was a hit, and everyone went home from work happy that day at least.
