Meeting In the Middle (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma and Grandpa's dog, Lulu, can pull some silly antics.  She's especially known for rushing out the back door to chase whatever squirrel or bird has invaded her territory, only to pull up short when she gets to the swimming pool with a silly look.  it's almost like she forgets it's there.

Boudreaux an' Thibodeaux done be settin' an' talkin', mos'ly 'bout how 'spensive ever'thing be's now.

Dey see Phideaux de dog in de yard, an' he be chasin' hims tail, an' Boudreaux say, "Mais!  I be's jes' like my dog, allus tryin' to make de ends meet!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

The hostess for our Wednesday night Bible study has put away all of her creches except this one.  It was given to her right before Christmas by her lawn and yard man, who made it himself of natural items he finds when he's taking care of yards and lawns.

Becca received this lovely sweatshirt for Christmas.

The next few are items i saw at a home which simply caught my eye.

We still have flowers, especially at Ms. A's house.

Skies over the past couple of weeks.

This week, Mr. Cal wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.

Some might remember last week he wouldn't look at me or pose until it was time to go in.  Only after we were in the house was he willing to really stop and pose for a selfie, and then only when he was on the furniture where he's not supposed to be,, and doing his best sloth imitation!

  1. I scrooched a ginger cat's head this morning. Our boys were unimpressed.
