Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
Grandma was in a napping mood yesterday, and a reminiscing mood. She was talking about our teen years. The boys (Uncle P and Uncle J) were not always the best of friends.
Tee Boudreaux done see one o' hims classmates in town an' done whistle to get hims attention.
Guidry done look up an' say, "What fo' you be whistlin' at me like I be one o' you girlfriends?"
An' Tee say, "Non, you whistle like dat at de dog."
An' Guidry say, "Mais, like I say..."

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
We have some flowers even this time of year. We're supposed to have the camellias, but not the azaleas, not yet. Even so, a few of them are popping up, and when it freezes later this week, well, we'll be glad for the ones which did not bloom too early a bit later on.
I also managed to get a bee and butterfly on camera.
