Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays. Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.
Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you. What better way to start the week than with a smile!
Most Wednesday mornings at the shelter see me doing the caretaking on the cages, not the colony rooms, but last week, someone else had signed up for cages, so rooms it was.
Marguerite has a notation to give her wet food, but i come in early enough there was no one to ask if there's a special wet food she should get, and there's no specific food mentioned. Thus i gave her the dry and moved on, knowing someone who could answer my question would be in about 15 minutes later.

| View of her through the window from the next room i cleaned. |
After i left the room without giving her wet food, she sat like this, staring at the door, waiting!

| Later, she moved back and sat on her blankie to wait. |
Of course, she soon got her wet food and was very happy.

Sparks is the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, who wanted us to post something positive and uplifting at the start of the week. While she no longer blogs, i like to post an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Our dear friend Diane is taking a break
accommodations we must make
we miss her poetry and wit
so carry on as Poetry Monday's a hit!
Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border. Charlotte/Mother Owl and i are keeping it going while she takes a blog break, we hope temporarily. Anyone else is welcome to join in the fun, just let us know!
This week the theme is Favorite Animal.
To pick a favorite animal,
well, what am i to say?
Is a cat better than a dog,
or is it the other way?
How about an elephant,
or a butterfly, or worm,
or whale or alligator,
or good gut bacteria germ?
If they're not human, they're animals
in one sense or another,
but who should say they're less important
than any person or his brother?
We're all in this together
on this side of the veil,
so i can't pick a favorite,
i don't have such a scale.
Future themes are:
January 5 Favorite Animal (Today!)
January 12 Glacier
January 19 Piece of Clothing
January 26 That One Time
(All themes are from the 365 Days of Drawing Prompts and Other Arts Facebook group.)
