New Year, Same Carl, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

It's a new year, but Carl is the same and i still can't find the white clothes hamper.

No, i still haven't figured out how you lose an entire clothes hamper that never leaves the house.

Carl has been working extra, it happens every year at the holidays.

The extra work stress shows up in his room.

I've never seen his fridge so full.

It also shows up in what he chooses to eat.  Yes, he's still supposed to be watching his sugar intake.  He does watch it, he watches it increase.

He's also sensitive to the cold, which makes everything worse for him.  The heat doesn't do him any favors, either.  Outdoor work is not his ideal situation, so we just deal with the mess as best we can.

When i was there last week, on New Year's Day to clean the rest of the house, he lamented, "I didn't get to do much partying."

He made up for it this weekend, it seems, spending time with friends and seeing Sam, the young lady he's sweet on.

While there, i cleaned up his gummy supplements, which were in lots of places.  I'm assuming a gummy accident, but didn't pry.

Carl has a tender heart and has rescued these plants from certain doom.

These three items are a special consideration.

The tooth flossing picks have already started ending up all over the floor, along with the dropped dental floss.  Of course, he needs both, why would you ask?

The Pez dispenser was on special after the holidays and he's a big kid, plus, sugar.

As for the Grinch themed air pods holder, no, he does not have any air pods.  What difference does that make?  It's got a fun holiday theme and it was marked down, does he really need another reason?

He spent a lot of time telling me about fun things he is planning, while making more messes that i was trying to go behind him and clean, of course, but i only understood parts of what he was saying.

One thing i did catch, he enjoyed the Testimony Night at church, and he's having trouble with the church website.  I don't know why he linked those two things, all i can say is his mind works in mysterious ways.

I hope they put him back to his part time hours soon, the "it's the holidays, everyone gets to work more" is wearing all of us out.

How about some funnies.

Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone!

  12. The clothes hamper has been snatched by borrowers from another dimension. When they are done with it they will return it to a place you have looked at thousands times.
