It’s Thankful Day and there’s always so much! The good overwhelms the not-so-good, doesn’t it?
The weather has been cold, but we’re most thankful there’s been no snow here, the swamp plants and critters don’t know what to do in those conditions.
#2 Son and i are very thankful last Saturday’s drive went well in spite of the rain which brought the cold behind it.
Speaking of #2 Son, we’re all thankful when he was not quite as careful with a tool as he could have been, he simply got a cut above his eye. It was a close call.
The weather was so cold and wet Sunday morning, Ms. A decided to stay home with Becca. As much as i missed having my worship buddy with me, i was thankful my Sweetie and i got to church early and had a lovely service.
As always, time with our little Annie is a delight for which i am very thankful.
Daughter-in-Law had a doctor appointment and we’re very thankful all is well so far with the baby to come.

| They tell me that's a baby in there, I'll take their word! |
One of the breakers in our house is not very strong and kept tripping. I’m thankful for the microwave which was plugged into that circuit, it has served us well for 25 years (yes, that long). It still works, but it has started to throw that breaker with almost every use, so we’re thankful The Big Boss gave us a great one he had only gently used, and we kept it for the day we knew the old one would retire.
I’m very thankful Ms. G’s latest escapade, picking up a ton of cat food to distribute to community cat feeders, did not result in me or her getting a spider bite. I do love spiders, but among all the bags and cans of food we were sorting, stored outdoors and on a trailer, there were a couple of brown recluse spiders which we dispatched.
Also, in said escapade, i am thankful i did not totally freeze with having to work outdoors.
Thursday went well at Ms. V’s house in spite of the fact she still hasn’t gotten the kitchen sink fixed.
The shelter was much more calm and quiet Friday evening, but there were people looking to adopt. We were thankful it wasn't too crowded as Pumpkin got out of his room and was not at all keen on going back in, so a calm evening helped settle him until we could bribe him in with treats.
A big thankful this week is my Sweetie and i are doing okay with only the one vehicle, as we aren’t sure when we will be able to have Slow-Moe fixed. He is at home more and we're thankful it's working out for now.
We’ve done this before, we can do it again, i’m thankful i can run my own errands even if it is more convenient to have him do it and thankful Brother-in-Law is available in the evenings and they enjoy running the roads together when they have stuff to do.
Please write up your own list and link up to Ten Things of Thankful, where Clark and his co-hosts always have a warm welcome waiting.
