Silly Sunday: Rooting for the Best

Silly Sunday is hosted by Sandee, of Comedy Plus.  It's the place to come for weekly laughs, and it's easy to Laugh and Link Up!

Yesterday was another home team game.  While i like the home team and often enjoy going, i skipped out and allowed Bigger Girl to take a friend.  The team we were playing wasn't that great, and i simply was not in the mood to go.

The fact that our team was expected to win easily (which does not always happen) reminds me of a joke.

Boudreaux, Thibodeaux, an' Gaston was commiserating wit' each udder an' talkin' 'bout how bad de home team was.

Gaston, he say, "Me, I blame de coach!  If he was any good, he would recruit dem good players!"

ThIbodeaux, he say, "Non, I blame de players!  De coach be ver' good, but dem players, day don' give it dere all!"

An' Boudreaux, he say, "Mais, I blame my parents!"

Den Thibodeaux ax him, "Mais!  What for you blame your parents?"

An' Boudreaux,  he say, "If dey had lived in anudder town, I'd be cheerin' for a better team!"
