Herding the Cat (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Getting Mikey to pose for pictures is like, well, herding a cat:

Outtake 1

Outtake 2

Outtake 3

With a raspberry, no less.

Finally, cooperation!

This is where i would paste Sandee's Code so the links would appear, but i tried several times and couldn't get the code to work, sorry.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I love buying gifts for ____________________.

2. I have a hard time finding a gift for ____________________.

3. It’s the most wonderful time _________.

4. There’s no place like _________ for the holidays.

1. I love buying gifts for small children.  They love simple toys and are grateful for everything they are given.

2. I have a hard time finding a gift for any child over about 12, so i usually just give them cash.  They are always happy with it, and sometimes i do something silly like put it between two slices of bread or in a container of play dough.

3. It's the most wonderful time to make goodies for people.

4. There's no place like NOLA for the holidays.  Even though i'd love to travel and see other places, i want to be back for holiday time.

  2. The dog in my life does much the same thing - except it's only his head he moves. Maddening animal!
