Our Walking Rug (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Mr. Mikey, in all his hairy glory, is starting to get knots in his fur again (he resists brushing), and Little Girl has her eyes on him to get him to a groomer and get him shaved for summer.

Our walking rug may not look quite like this soon:

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

  1. I had a walking rug too, he didn't like brushing, but didn't mind me clipping out most of the knots, but one summer he got badly matted around his back end and with grass seeds/burrs he wouldn't let me touch, so he got shaved and looked rather funny for a while.

  2. Today you succeeded in listing only birthday people unknown to me ;) - Or at least nobody I do recognize immediately. I don't know if this tells more of me or of your list.

  3. Your walking rug is extremely floofy, but also handsome!
Eric was only semi long haired but would shed for England. Fortunately he loved the Zoom Groom and the Furminator. He loved the zoom groom so much that when I was using one on him, he would rub his face in the other one.

  4. He sounds very determined to avoid brushing heheh!

    Have a rugtastic weekend :-)

  5. Not all cats like to be brushed. When it rains, it waters my garden for me. Happy weekend!

  6. Some kitties don't like to be brushed and you're right, that's a lot of hair.

Love all your fill ins. My back hurts sometimes too, but I sure don't work hard like you do.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

  7. Mikey is a cutie. Long haired cats have a tough time staying mat free. Thanks for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Sorry your back hurts often. Have you ever tried the supplement turmeric? It is a great anti-anflammatory. I take it sometimes when my back bothers me and it works well. Have a nice weekend!XO

  8. What a cute little 'black ball of fluff.' ~

    Happy Times to You,

  9. Our Orange tabby Larry the Lion had to be groomed at the end of winter.....boy o boy did he ever! Have a lovely day!

  10. Good answers! Hey Mr. Mikey, hide pal!

  11. Being a cat groomer would be my idea of the world's worst job.

  12. Mimi,

I had to laugh at that walking rug of yours. :D

I'm allergic to seasonal elements - trees, grass, weeds, mold, ... Food allergies are mild and few, so I don't count those and thankfully I'm not allergic to any meds that I know of.

  13. Mikey is so handsome, and he always reminds me of my sister's cat Toby. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! My dad is allergic to bee stings. I've never been stung by a bee or wasp, so I don't know if I am. I'm sorry to hear about your back pain, and I hope it lets up for you. Have a wonderful day!
