Abigail (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Abigail belongs to Mr. BA and Ms. GA.  She got caught in a tree once and was truly stuck, and by the time they got her out it cost her one of her back legs.

She is a very happy and extremely friendly cat who never, ever met a stranger.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. _________________is my _____________ of the _________________.

2. My favorite character on Big Bang Theory is _____________________.

3. I could set a world record for _________.

4. _________ is the craziest thing I’ve ever done.

1. Lovingkindness is my focus word of the year.

2. My favorite character on Big Bang Theory is _____________________. (Leaving this blank because i have never seen the show, although reading up on it, i can understand why many people did watch regularly.)

3. I could set a world record for procrastination, unfortunately.

4. Getting in my car and driving across two states to meet up in person with people i'd only previously met online is the craziest thing I’ve ever done.  It was also one of the best, i am so glad to have them as friends now both online and IRL.

  4. I can't celebrate Pack Rat Day because I might lose my momentum. (It's rare, I must leverage it while I can!)
I'll eat some cherry cobbler, instead. :-D

  5. That is one lucky kitty to have a great family and to live a normal life on 3 legs. Happy National Pizza Party Day!

  6. Mimi,

Poor little Abigail! Cats are so silly. They climb high up a tree and then can't get down. I enjoyed your fill-ins. That was cool that you ventured to see a once online pal two states away. I have not met any of my bloggy friends but did meet a few penpals over the years which was cool. I was thinking about ordering pizza for dinner and now seeing that it's National Pizza Day then I definitely will! Wasn't Debra Winger on yesterday's celebrity bday list? Every time I think of Bill Paxton, I think of his role in 'True Lies' as the used car salesman. Have you seen that movie? If not, I highly recommend it. It's full of great laughs with an all star cast Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jami Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold, Eliza Duskhu, Tia Carrere, Grant Heslov, & Charlton Heston. :)

  9. Abigail is a beautiful girl. Cats are so amazing at adjusting to disabilities, they never feel sorry for themselves as people do. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. You don't strike me as being a procrastinator. Have a wonderful weekend! XO

  10. She's a pretty girl and I'm glad she's still with her peeps. Trees can be very dangerous.

Love all your fill-ins. Looks like the both of us are queens of procrastination.

I have met many bloggers in person. I've lost count of how many.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

  12. I think Abigail takes her disability easier than the humans around her. Good for her. We're on the same page when it comes to the Big Bang Theory. My husband pesters me about watching, but I never have. And when it comes to procrastination, I think I'm going to have you beat. You are a whirlwind of activity while I'm just a mild breeze.

  13. Poor Abigail, to lose a leg like that. But she looks like she's adapted fine. Like others have commented, animals adapt better than humans, I think.

As for procrastination, you know my blog name :)

  14. Beautiful kitty and so focused ~

  15. Abigail is a beauty! I have such a fondness for specially abled furbabies, and it is so wonderful to see kitties like Abigail so happy and adapted. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I feel like I both am and am not a procrastinator. In school, I never procrastinated and was that kid who had assignments done way ahead of time. As an adult, I don't typically procrastinate on necessary deadlines, but when it comes to my least favorite chores and such, that's when I am a huge procrastinator.
