Play With Me! (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

At the shelter:

Play with me!

I said, Play with me!

Take that, you!

Oof!

Okay, let's take a break!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. ______________ was a very good year.

2. There is nothing quite like _______________.

3. If I had a talk show, I would want to interview _________.

4. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for _________.

1. Every year was a very good year, you just have to look for all of the good things that happened.

2. There is nothing quite like when the rain finally goes away (people who live in a desert wouldn't get that, those of us who live in swamps do).

3. If I had a talk show, I would want to interview lots of the bloggers i follow, because i think average, ordinary people are never just average and ordinary, and are much more interesting than celebrities.

4. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for ...  well, i can't really think of a good answer to this.  Sweetie says if he ever gets so old he can't think and take himself to the restroom, he wants me to shoot him.  As much as i love him, i wouldn't do that.  The fact is, there is no one on earth i love so much i'd knowingly and willfully commit a serious crime for them, and no mere thing on earth i'd want so much i'd harm others on purpose in some way to get it.  So i will recognize i put too much thinking into this one, as it was meant to be funny (like, there's nothing i wouldn't do for ice cream, as an example) and take a pass on it.

  10. We agree with #1. Even when there's a tough year, there is still something wonderful you can find in it. The Female Human says we can always find joy in the midst of our circumstances.

Your final fill-in reminded me of a friend's words about speeding - "I don't need to be anywhere bad enough that it's worth dying for."
(Except, you know, she kept hers short! ;-p)

  13. Kittens! I just love seeing kittens playing and interacting with each other. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I appreciate how profoundly you answered #1. You are so right with that sentiment. The same goes for #3. I agree that fellow bloggers are so much more special and interesting than celebrities. Have a wonderful day!
