Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

Bear, a/k/a Mr. Manners, is tired from snoopervising the Christmas decorating at his house:

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

***********************************

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border.  She and Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey take turns providing a theme each week.   Mother Owl and Merry Mae almost always participate, too.  This weeks theme is Time.

There's the same amount each day,
It just never seems like enough,
More to do than can ever get done,
Egad! will you just look at the time!

Realize it won't all get done,
Each time you add more stuff, that
Simply makes life harder,
Take a moment to rest.

  7. Between Beethoven, Jane Austen, Kandinsky, and Noel Coward, it's hard to know which to celebrate first. (Except that Jane Austen always wins, in my book. :-D)

  8. No rest for the weary!

Antonín Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95, From The New World is given its world première performance at Carnegie Hall, 1893

Hmmm I wonder how much time it took for him to compose this little ditty.
