A Lucky List (Ten Things of Thankful)

***********************************

Thankful Day finds me thankful and sleepy.

rEcess was last night, accounting for both, so i will make this quick (at 11pm and yes, i have work in the morning).

Bible study was excellent.

Sweetie had work with The Big Boss, so i did Ms. GA’s place alone, and it worked out well.

At Ms. S’s house after, i earned enough to buy the paper products for the evening.

Because of the time i headed down, i actually missed the traffic.

We still had enough cold drinks from last month left that i didn’t need to buy more.

Our Ladies’ Circle provided the food — lasagna, salad, bread, and dessert.  There were leftovers of everything, including a few cookies.  A very few cookies.

Three more pediatric interns from the local hospital came to spend time and get a feel for what it’s like dealing with special kids outside of the clinical setting.

Becky was my special child for the night, and with the intern assigned to us, we invented a new game in the gym, throwing the ball through the hula hoops.

We colored lucky horseshoes and even had a leprechaun running around dropping pieces of “gold” (home made paper coins).

A fun time was had by all.

Please write up your own list and link up to Ten Things of Thankful, where Kristi and her co-hosts always have a warm welcome waiting.

  10. I remember Bible Study groups where I didn't do the studying, but looked after the toddlers and babies of the mums who did.
