Kiki Cat Chills Out (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

**********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Ms. S's cat, Kiki, has always been terrified of everyone except Ms. S.  Now that they have moved and i am over there so much, i let her out, give her food, take care of her box, etc., and she has grown much more tolerant of me.  When i took these photos, she looked up, saw it was only me, and laid back down!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. You will never find _______________ in my home.

2. Once a year, I __________________.

3. _________ has gotten me in trouble.

4. The last time I _________ was when _________.

1. You will never find    rosemary    in my home.  Sweetie was never impressed with it when used in cooking to begin, then he went and worked at a place where the cafeteria people put so much of it in the mashed potatoes that you could not taste anything else, and now he hates it.  We won't even have it in the house, even though i do like the smell, i defer to him on this one.

2. Once a year, I   go on vacation.  The rest of the year, i generally work 6 days a week.

3. Being willing to go out of my way for other people   has gotten me in trouble.

4. The last time I   stayed up all night voluntarily   was when   i was in college.  Of course, there were a few sleepless nights with the kids, but that's not voluntarily.  These days, i need my sleep!

  1. Well done on getting Kiki to trust you.
Sigh on the rosemary front, but I can understand why your Sweetie cannot cope with it.

  4. Overdosing on spices can do this. I had an aversion to nutmeg for many years for the same reason.

  5. Aw, the kitty is adorable and it's good that it tolerates you. Come cats just aren't very social.

Love your fill-ins. There are spices that are overpowering and I don't like that either.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug. ♥

  12. Kiki seems happy! What a kind soul you are. My mom always said go easy on the rosemary and thyme. I listened and use them sparingly but if you had a bad experience I understand fully. Less is more you know. (Wink Wink) HUGS and LOVE

  13. Kiki is gorgeous! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I don't think I've ever pulled a true full nighter, but the closest I ever came was certainly in college. I studied for finals almost all night. Have a wonderful week!
