Colorful (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

 ***********************************

A blessed and beautiful Happy Easter to all.  He Is Risen!

***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma decided that Easter is too soon for a family gathering at a restaurant, we will try for Mother's Day.  Meanwhile, we are all on our own for an Easter celebration.

Boudreaux done come home from de church service on Easter Sunday an' set him down in front de TV an' turn on hims favorite Star Trek episodes.

Clothile one scold him fo' spendin' de holiday on de couch and he say, "De kids not goin' be here fo' de holiday from the Covid, so Easter be de perfect day to watch all de good episode wit' de Klingons."

An' Clothile ax, "Why you t'ink dis be de perfect day to watch dem Klingons?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, today be de good day to dye!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

A few shots of Easter decor that i've been able to snap while out and about driving to jobs:

  1. Love all the decorations. I've never once thought of decorating for Easter, but one of my daughters used to leave her plastic Christmas tree up and exchange the Christmas Star for a rabbit at Easter and then later for a plastic pumpkin for Halloween, but one day the tree fell apart and that was the end of that.
