She’s Got Your Number (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Sammy’s Poetry Day and Brian’s Thankful Thursday

 ***********************************

Ms. G, although unable because of her back trouble to actually renovate homes herself or do heavy work and much heavy lifting, is still a force to be reckoned with.

There is a particular unscrupulous contractor in this area who has managed to mostly fly under the radar and quick step out of the situations he's gotten himself into.

Then he conned some of Ms. G's very good (as in, since childhood) friends.

She is as competent as any private investigator in getting information and gathering evidence, is on the police-citizen liaison committee, and has friends and contacts everywhere, including many high places.

Ms. G is determined to get her friends back the deposit they gave that man, minus a reasonable amount for the work he actually did, and he is determined it will not happen.

He is starting to find out the hard way, you do not cross Ms. G when she's got your number, and I am enjoying watching it happen.

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Cross.

While Good Fences Around the World seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird, i still enjoy looking for and posting interesting fences, so i will!

Even a short bit of fence...

...can hide a "multitude of sins."

The rest of the yard's fence.

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day This week's image and my poem:

Dude, your breath!

What did you eat?

It really is rank!

Smells worse'n dad's feet!

  5. Well now there is a funny poem for you. So sorry to hear that there's a scandal going on. People are so cruel to other people, and in different ways. Stealing money is cruel.
