The Only One Like You (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections, and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

It will be colder than usual in the swamps, but some silly people were wanting snow.  We don't need it here, the cold is hard enough.

Tee be tellin' Boudreaux how if'n it snows, dey's not goin' be havin' school.

An' Boudreaux say, "Did you teacher tole you dat ever' snowflake in de world be's diff'ernt from all de rest?"

An' Tee say, "Really, Père?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, oui!  Dat be why you don' become frien's wit de snowflakes, each one t'ink it be 'snow' special!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  Our friend River is hosting, and other participants often include Charlotte/Mother Owl, Andrew, and WiseWebWoman

Bits and bobs as usual, mostly with camellias, which are putting on quite a show in some yards.  The first two are the Japanese magnolias (tulip trees), followed by an attempt to get close up pictures of the buds on some which haven't quite bloomed yet.

This week, Fondant wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.

I asked Fondant and Creamcake if they wanted to snap selfies, but Creamcake wanted to keep snoozing.

  6. Fondant's selfie is a delight, even though a tad sleepy. That is a lovely white bloom. And Mr or Miss Snowman is either late or anticipating a snowfall.
